Hotel staff was lovely, she prepared very nice breakfast, gave us good advices of where to go, and also assisted us in getting our lost luggages back from airport. Great location!
There was no aircon in the room, and the wireless internet connection was poor

Perfect location on a beautiful river with easy access to historical sites and shopping malls. Clean rooms, great hotel facilities, and helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Couldn't fault.

the entrance is horrible since you have to enter a building which is in a bery bad condition (broken stairs) and enter an elevator that must be there for hundreds of years. The room was tiny but warm.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I enjoyed the convenient location just minutes away from main tourist attractions. The breakfast had a good variety of cold and hot items to start the day. the friendly staff provided helpful recommendations for local restaurants.
The walls were thin and noise traveled easily, making it difficult to sleep at night. the elevator was old and shaky, making it uncomfortable to ride.

It has excellent location near the Hermitage.
The hotel is overpriced. Some of the rooms really need renovation. There was no air-conditioning in room. Not all the staff is pleasant, for instance one of the receptionist tried not to pass me inside the hotel at 2 AM (and it was at the "white nights" period). I really disappointed.

A small, pleasant hotel, with friendly staff and a family atmosphere. Breakfast was nice. Some rooms have a view of the river. Overall the hotel had a friendly, cosy atmosphere and we enjoyed our stay.
We booked 4 bedrooms but three of these did not have air conditioning. Also, it was very hard to find this hotel as it is located on the third floor of an anonymous building. The name "Moika River Hotel" does not appear on any door or sign. They use the name "Residence Hotel" on the street door and you push a buzzer to gain admission to the building. The communal stairway in the building (not the hotel itself) is dilapidated and needs renovation.

The hotel had a great location, just a short walk away from major historical sites and shopping areas. the staff was friendly and helpful, always happy to assist with any requests we had. the breakfast offered was satisfactory and gave us a good start to our day.
the hotel was located on a higher floor of the building and the lobby was old and uninviting.

Location, location, location. Steps from Nevsky Prospect, short walk from Palace Square. Inside, the hotel was basic, but clean and neat. Breakfast was a small but sufficient buffet. The staff was friendly, but somewhat uneven; half that we dealt with on our two-night stay were very helpful, the other half were not.

To be honest, the only thing that I liked was the location; very close to the Hermitage and other interesting sightseeing objects, as well as the major shopping area at Nevsky Prospekt. Bus stop and even metro were close by.
The building, entrance and the rooms reminded me of Soviet Russia. Dated furniture and the carpets everywhere in the hotel were full of stains! A very small and poorly equipped bathroom, old wooden beds and mattresses that were badly in need of changing for better and more comfortable one'S. Apart from one girl, the reception staff hardly spoke English, or any other foreign language. Probably because of this, they gave the impression not to be very helpful.

You can easily walk to almost on Nevskyy prospect and admire the beautiful view from the banks of Moika. the room is spacious and very clean, and the bathroom is well equipped. the breakfast is delicious and the service is exceptional, with attentive staff always ready to help.
The wifi connectivity in some rooms can be limited at times.
